All things related to the reelection efforts for the Democrats (whoever they decide it will be). I liked it better when the primaries decided this and the voters had some input in that decision.
It is NO wonder that he was unable to implement any positive changes for the American people – while he had no problem executing his shady deals to pad his own pockets.
That staggering tally includes R&R 43 of the 70 days — or 61% — after being pressured by fellow Dems in July 21 to drop his re-election bid.
Biden’s relaxation ratio outstripped the previous Vacationer-in Chief, George H.W. Bush, who spent 37% of his presidency — 543 of 1,461 days – away from the White House. Biden’s out-of-office ratio far surpasses time off taken by Trump — who spent 26% of his first term away from Washington, D.C. — 381 of his 1,461 days in office, records show.
This just plainly illustrates, (yet again), how much everyone was being gas lit the past several years. And likely reflects the ever growing disgust with the elite Democrats who tried to insult everyone’s intelligence and claim that this wasn’t the case when it was plainly obvious to anyone (with intact and functioning brain cells) that it most definitely was!.
Personally, I never thought he had a chance for a positive legacy. Especially now that all of the machinations behind the scenes to protect his image are being exposed and prompting the public to ask what is really going on?
Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.’s obituary will be stalked by the counterfactual: What if he hadn’t made the selfish decision to run for reelection? What if he had passed the torch a year or even six months earlier?
That makes for a grim parlor game.
The way that events unfolded—his catastrophic debate performance, the stark clarity with which the nation came to understand his geriatric state–-beggars belief. Why didn’t Democrats stage an intervention earlier? Why didn’t his aides stop him from running?
The absurd premise of the Biden reelection campaign, that it made sense for the nation to trust itself to a president who would finish his term at the age of 86, invites conspiratorial explanations.
There’s no need to go searching for hidden scandals, however, because the visible one is sufficiently terrible. Democrats ignored a cascade of warning signs.
The evidence that Biden wasn’t fit for a second term was abundantly clear in his public appearances—and in the public appearances that he studiously avoided. Advisers knew that Biden’s instinct was always to invest faith in his own capacities, but they never made a concerted effort to talk him back from his decision to run, until it was far too late.
Donald Trump is now THEIR legacy too.
This seems to be another of a long string of admissions from progressive media and appears to indicate they finally recognize the damage they’ve inflicted on the nation and are looking for redemption. I can’t imagine The Atlantic ever making such statements as little as 6 months ago.
That’s great for The Atlantic. They’ve recognized their problem. BUT,… that’s the first step of their redemption path. However, I won’t be rushing out for a subscription.

It only takes a minute to lose someone’s trust but it will take a long time to gain that trust back.
At least, they are making an attempt. Maybe too little too late, but they’re trying. Sadly, there remains too many more who steadfastly refuse to acknowledge what has happened and continue to repeat what has been thoroughly debunked.
The exposé by the Wall Street Journal in December revealed how the White House had meticulously managed Biden’s public appearances and shielded his cognitive decline from the public. Under the guise of COVID precautions, his team created an impenetrable bubble around him, controlling his schedule and keeping him in a largely ceremonial role. His staff reportedly handles most of the administrative duties, ensuring Biden avoids unscripted moments that could expose his limitations. This manufactured image has allowed Democrats to maintain the illusion of competence while the president has become a figurehead in his own administration.
CBS News legal correspondent Jan Crawford acknowledged that major media outlets significantly downplayed Biden’s cognitive decline:
“We should have much more forcefully questioned whether he was fit for office for another four years, which could have led to a primary for the Democrats,” Crawford lamented. “It could have changed the scope of the entire election. Yet still, incredibly, we read in The Washington Post that his advisers are saying that he regrets that he dropped out of the race, that he thinks he could have beaten Trump. And I think that is either delusional or they’re gaslighting the American people.”
My glaring question is who exactly did that illusion of competence work on? I know some of the faithful who will diligently echo every approved narrative – even when they don’t believe it but I would like to think that a vast majority of adults (with working senses) were able to see through that smokescreen.
It might be that the competence they were referring to related to their voters and supporters and they wished to make them still appear to be sane. It didn’t work.
All the while, gaslighting was maxed well into meltdown stage. It’s just astounding that they thought this would actually work. It’s even more astounding that their supporters went along with it. Who (with any remaining dignity) would actually believe this fairy tale?
One of the gaslighting leaders was senate majority leader Chuck Schumer, who spent the entire campaign telling anyone who would listen how sharp as a tack Biden was and he regularly ran circles around everyone while working late into the evening. Never mind that many reports were emerging at the time that he had spent over 40% of his term on vacation.
For most working stiffs, 2 or 3 weeks/year is about the most vacation time anyone can expect. So, it should not be a surprise that honest working people rejected someone who demands full loyalty and compliance while taking 20+ weeks off while in the process of decimating our republic.
But, the worst of that was what was actually happening behind the scenes as Schumer disclosed:
Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), has now revealed to The New York Times that he pointedly urged Biden to drop out of the race during a private meeting July 13.
“If you run and you lose to Trump, and we lose the Senate, and we don’t get back the House, that 50 years of amazing, beautiful work goes out the window,” Schumer told Biden bluntly, according to the Times, which reported the “tense” encounter from the New York lawmaker’s point of view.
“But worse — you go down in American history as one of the darkest figures,” Schumer admonished Biden.
At least he got that final part right.
For a simple example of the obvious decline that everyone saw, examine this exchange below between Biden and house speaker Mike Johnson that occurred back a full YEAR ago.
The speaker recalled, “I said, Mr. President, why did you pause LNG exports to Europe? You understand you’re fueling Vladimir Putin’s war machine because they’ve got to get their gas from him.”
“I didn’t do that,” Biden insisted.
But, in fact, the executive order had been signed just weeks earlier.
Johnson recounts the surreal moment when he offered to have Biden’s staff print out the executive order so they could read it together. It was only then that Biden vaguely acknowledged it.
But when Johnson pressed further, it became evident that the President had no grasp of the executive action, and Johnson was left “with fear and loathing.”
“I thought we’re in serious trouble. Who is running the country?” Johnson questioned. “Like, I don’t know who put the paper in front of him, but he didn’t know.”
This exchange underscores a chilling reality — a president who not only is struggling to remember critical decisions, but is also unable to engage fully in high-stakes discussions with national security implications. The fact that Biden, despite his decades of experience, was so out of the loop on an issue as fundamental as energy exports points to a worrying trend that many have long suspected: Biden is not (and likely never was) fully in charge.
Actually, the debate results ushered in the era where most DID see through this BS and is why we saw the electoral college results as well as the popular vote, the Senate, the House, and many state level victories.
The only thing that hasn’t occurred yet is for all those who have been proven wrong to fess up and admit it. I see that some are now admitting it but it will be quite a while before they are believed again.

Now that the pardon has been announced, let’s just look forward to when Hunter and any others to follow start singing like canaries.
Democrats are corrupt to the core and the voters who supported them are exposed as being out of touch with reality more with each passing day.
Try to make it through this menagerie of hypocrisy (below) to the end and count how many times they reaffirm how superior they are over Trump, Republicans and their voters because they are so truthful and always follow the rule of law:
In the clip, I counted 19 instances where they brought up the contrast (key word of the day) between the noble, rule-of-law adherence of Saint Biden, compared to the disgruntled threats to democracy of Trump. I can understand Biden’s change of heart – except that he always intended to do so and continued to lie about it.
But, what I find completely nauseating is the media’s constant, holier-than-thou superiority complex on any topic before them – that always crashes in flames. Yet they keep it up thinking people still listen to them.
Of course, their solution is to simply deny that Biden lied and all of their faithful unthinking drones will eagerly nod along in agreement – while once again belittling anyone who does not follow along. It is getting exceedingly tiresome.
Charlamagne tha God explains from his recent appearance on The View:
“I think all of the criticism is valid because Democrats stand on this moral high ground all the time and, you know, they act so self-righteous, with their holier-than-thou rhetoric. They’re the ones that go out there and they stand on moral high ground. They don’t have to do that.”
Actually, I’ve changed my mind, Trump should go after and jail each and every one of these admitted hypocrites.

The president has discussed pardoning his son with some of his closest aides at least since Hunter Biden’s conviction in June, said two people with direct knowledge of the discussions about the matter. They said it was decided at the time that he would publicly say he would not pardon his son even though doing so remained on the table. – NBC
SO, it was a conscious decision to BS the public and even those “in the know” are admitting it. He knew it could hurt his reelection chances, so they decided he would simply lie rather than admit what was happening behind the scenes.
With that, let’s recall this tasty quote from 2018 that will soon be buried – because that’s what they do:
“The Congress ought to know whether the president is using the pardon power to obstruct justice. The American people have a right to know. This legislation is clearly constitutional. It doesn’t prohibit him from granting a pardon, even a pardon he shouldn’t grant, but it does say we will be able to at least find out whether the president is using this power to shield himself from liability and offers transparency, at the very least.” – Adam Schiff
1/22: And now, after preemptively pardoning the rest of his crime syndicate, the flaming hypocrisy reappears. Review, what these same deranged experts were saying 4 years ago, when Trump DIDN’T pardon his family and individuals as they are projecting – while Biden clearly had no such reservations.
Hypocrisy and dishonesty are the only constants with liberals. If they didn’t have double standards, they wouldn’t have any standards at all. Regardless of their flaming hypocrisy, this action prompts 2 concerns:
The pardon covers a wide sweeping smorgasbord of criminal activity going back 11 years – crimes already charged and convicted, but also anything not yet discovered. What else are they hiding besides sloppy Joe’s involvement in the schemes?
Why now? We all knew it was coming but I would have expected it to happen in January – much closer to the end of his term. Was this a trial balloon for dozens of other deep state offenders who are staring down well deserved justice under the new administration? Will we see a daily deluge of additional sweeping pardons for all of those bad actors who got off scot free? In doing so, he’ll blame Trump for having to do it. He’ll claim that because Trump wants “retribution,” he has to pardon people (and himself) to protect them and the country from such evil. It’ll be for our own good, he’ll tell us, for the good of the nation, to stop Trump and protect democracy.
I guess executing it now stops Hunters sentencing coming up in a week or so, but it also exposes a flaw in their plan.
With the pardon end date of 12/1, anything that happens from now on is fully chargeable and with the expected inquiries and congressional investigations of their misdeeds not even starting yet, they may have miscalculated. As Mike Davis mentions above, any of those pardoned will still be obligated to appear and testify. They may not be charged for the crimes they committed previously, but those crimes will still be investigated and they can be convicted for contempt, perjury, and numerous other offenses they commit during those proceedings. After seeing grandmas sentenced to prison for touring the capital, you can be damn sure each and every offense will be rung all the way through the wringer. And sloppy Joe will be out of office and powerless to stop them by then.
This will greatly assist in the real truth being exposed once and for all.

Can you imagine how that scenario will play out? All those pardoned will be mandated to appear and testify. They cannot plead the 5th. They can’t be charged for their crimes but they will need to reveal the truth or face the consequences, which will surely be imprisonment – just like it was for Bannon and Navarro and wasn’t for Hunter and others with a (D) by their name who committed the exact same offenses.
In the end, this is just the icing on the cake. The best takeaway?
Joe Biden is leaving office making the strongest possible case for Donald Trump that anybody could possibly make it, and that’s that our government and our justice system is of, by, and for the elites and nobody else. He ran to banish Trumpism from our political system in this country and he has left it politically and now institutionally the strongest possible political force in this country. It is a complete and utter failure by the President of the United States, the Democratic party and those that continue to support them.
This was at the now infamous Harris rally in Houston, where they packed the stadium (to show how popular she is) by promising a free Beyonce concert. They were quick to share pics and videos of the raucous crowd before the festivities began. However, Beyonce merely spoke for a few minutes and never performed. The crowd erupted in unruly boos, taunts, brawls and utter disgust at being deceived. Certainly behavior never seen at a Trump rally – even though they are filled with Nazi’s.
It was a long time coming but am now thankful and appreciative they are soon to be officially irrelevant – other than the damage, destruction, mayhem and chaos they’ll be inflicting on everyone in the coming weeks, simply because they didn’t get what they wanted. A growing majority are now wise to their game, are tired of being insulted and no longer wish to be referred to as “low information” voters.
And with everyone fleeing, they resort to intimidation and threats. Surprised?

Instead, I heard generic platitudes, things like “joy,” “respect,” and “integrity.” What does that even mean? “Let’s make the military the most lethal in the world.” I thought I was part of the anti-war party. I thought I was part of the party that fought for the underdog, that championed working people. When and how did we just become the party of academia, anemia, and affluence? Because that’s what we are right now.
“Cringe” is the word most often used in headlines to describe the campaign for the candidate “selected” to represent the people. With Obama now berating men (of color) for having a differing opinion, or Walz embarking on a truly laughable “manly” tour, they are pulling out all the stops to reverse the course they’ve been establishing for years. And once again, no one is buying it.
However, the cringi-est of all of it HAS to be this production. Surely, they aren’t serious and this HAS to be parody.

From one of the producers (writer for Jimmy Kimmel): “I think this resonates with people because it’s a view of masculinity we see in our lives but is rarely reflected in the media….With the rise of role models like Tim Walz and Doug Emhoff on the national stage, I think the left is finally finding its footing on how to talk about masculinity — I think we’re overdue for a redefinition of what it means to be a man in America and I hope this campaign can start to shape that conversation.”
Yeah, sure, that’s gonna happen.
AND, to pile on further, let’s learn a little more about those REAL men.
Along with MSNBCs recent admission of assisting the Harris campaign any way they can by making their audience dumber, we get this nugget CONFIRMING their tone deafness. This is the same woman alarmed by seeing flags on D-Day, has trouble with basic arithmetic and as a result is an ideal choice for the MSDNC.
In summary, this HAS to be the easiest campaign to strategize against. They provide ALL of the ammo needed to expose them and all Trumps campaign needs to do is repeat their ads and say “I approve this message”. Time and time again, they reaffirm that their plans and ideas are worth about as much as Hunters paintings these days.
Just like the 51 intelligence officials who told us the Hunter laptop story was nothing more than misinformation, we now have hundreds of other officials who haven’t learned a damn thing!
The saving grace can be found in the responses to this and pretty much every post they try. This just adds 690 more names to have their security clearances revoked on day 1.
It’s amazing how she can make these claims, touting the successes of Bidenomics, while at the same time blame all of the negatives on Trump – while also at the same time, refusing to disclose how she plans to fix any of it.
This is so typical of the gaslighting that has been painfully obvious to many the past several years. But are automatically labelled as MAGA-Extremists if they dare to bring it up.
Instead, we are schooled that Mumbles McGoo is a sharp and focused dynamo behind the scenes working late into the evening solving the world’s problems. They just seem incapable of demonstrating that vigor in any public appearance. As each public event approaches, we hear it is a make or break opportunity and just need to watch him astound us all. Then, he reliably falls on his face and we learn it was a cold, his schedule, jet lag, the sun was in his eyes, the dog ate his homework, wasn’t his fault, Trump did it or whatever other feeble excuse appears in his fogged brain.
In the most recent ABC interview, he was asked if he’s had a full neurological exam since the debate, Biden retorted, “I get a full neurological test every day with me.” It was clearly a scripted line and he repeated it twice more in the interview.
“Have you had the specific cognitive tests?” “No. No one said I had to,” Biden said.
Well, his mental health has been in question since before the 2020 contest and now EVERYONE is calling for such a test. To any sane person, that would be a trigger to complete such a test to alleviate those concerns. But not to this self-absorbed mental titan living in his own dream world though. We are all expected to shut up and go along with it or we are threats to democracy.
As to Dr. Jackson’s original post above, the “apology would be nice” line stands out. How many have heard any such admission or realization that they’ve been constantly fed a line of BS, and those contradicting that BS have been right all along. Now, it has all blown up in their faces.
I’ve said it all so many times before, I’ll let her sum it up for you.
Anyone who committed the sin of using their own eyes on the 46th president was accused, variously, of being Trumpers; MAGA cult members who don’t want American democracy to survive; ageists; or just dummies easily duped by “disinformation,” “misinformation,” “fake news,” and, most recently, “cheapfakes.”
“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove any doubt”.

Since it is calling me out by name, it strikes a chord but also explains how we got here. Way too many have been sitting on the sidelines, not wishing to make any waves to keep the peace and accepting the constant gaslighting that’s been happening nonstop for 8 years now.
